12.7 Saving Rhinometry Data Files

  1. Using the left/right arrow keys, highlight Save at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Press Enter
  3. On the very bottom of the screen, there will be a prompt: “Do you wish to review patient data? Y/N”, press Y. This will bring up the participant information that you used earlier to enter specific information.
  4. Confirm that all the participant information is correct. Use the up/down arrow keys to move prompt for the information that you may want to change.
  5. Press Esc to exit this screen and return to the Main Acquisition Screen.
  6. The prompt will says “Filename”. Type in *"r" and the participant’s four-digit ID number.
  7. Press Enter. The screen will quickly flash blank and return to the same screen with no further prompts given. You can assume that the file was saved.
  8. When the second set of data has been collected, highlight Save on the screen.
  9. Re-enter the same patient information as above, adding “ns” at the end of the filename to indicate that this set of data was collected after the neosynephrine was used.
  10. The computer will ask if you wish to update patient information. Do so if not already completed.

Note: Once saved, the data cannot be manipulated and saved under the same name. Make sure data is accurate and complete before saving.
