12.3 Computer Setup

1. Assure that the rhinometer is connected securely to the back of the hard drive in the appropriate jack (marked “nose”).
2. From the Windows start menu, restart computer in MS-DOS mode.
3. Type “cd ..” to remove the Windows prompt. The computer should display only the ‘C:\’
4. Type “ncnose”
5. Press Enter. This will bring up the rhinometry data acquisition screen. There will be one large graph, and 4 smaller ones below it.
