13.5 Entering Participant Information and Labeling Trial Graphs

  1. There are word functions underneath the smaller graphs. Use the left/right arrow keys to highlight Patient.
  2. Press Enter. You are now in a screen to:
    • Input subject specific information
    • Label the four smaller ‘trial’ graphs.
  3. Press Enter or use the up/down arrow keys to move from each requested item.
  4. Type in Patient Name: ###-#### (familyID-personID)
  5. Type in birth date numerically (MM/DD/YY).
  6. Type in Operator: your initials
  7. Leave Referring Physician and Medical Record Number blank.
  8. Make sure each of the four graphs, listed top to bottom, are labeled:
    • nose breath
    • mouth breath
    • mouth breath
    • mouth breath
  9. Press Esc to exit. You will return to Main Data Acquisition screen.
  10. Highlight acquire on the screen, using the left/right keys.
  11. Select the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th screen with the up/down keys. Begin recording trials on the first screen on the left.
