5.1 Overview

A standard 12-lead ECG will be performed in a supine or semi-recumbent position for all participants that agree to participate in the HeartBEAT visit. The safety and comfort of the participant are the highest priorities. The MAC® 1200 electrocardiograph or an equivalent, available at all of the Field Sites will be used to record the ECGs that will be transmitted to the HeartBEAT SDCC in Cleveland for diagnostic classification and data extraction.
