Dear NSRR team,

I am currently utilizing the Pediatric Adenotonsillectomy Trial for Snoring (PATS) dataset for my research. I would be very grateful if you could assist me with a couple of questions regarding specific variables within the dataset.

Tonsil Size Data: The dataset includes separate measurements for the left and right tonsils under LEFT and RIGHT. Is there an aggregate or combined tonsil size variable that reflects an overall grade (e.g., 1-4 scale) for tonsil size?

Your assistance in addressing these queries will be invaluable to my research. Thank you very much for your time and support.

Best regards,

Chao

To my knowledge, PATS analyses up until this point have often used the maximum tonsil grade (right or left) as a sort of "aggregate" measure.
