Datasets for Commercial Use

Hi,

Is there a running list of datasets that are allowed for for-profit or commercial use? I understand that SHHS is one of them, are there any others in the data bank?

It's easier for me to list off the datasets that do not allow commercial use.

• CFS - https://sleepdata.org/datasets/cfs
• NCHSDB - https://sleepdata.org/datasets/nchsdb
• WSC - https://sleepdata.org/datasets/wsc

I think all the rest allow commercial use (as of this moment).

Thanks much! We were asked to submit an IRB review in response to our access request. Is that required even if the datasets are de-identified and free of any PII?

An IRB review is preferred, but not required.

Understood (and agree!). Is it okay to submit if we get access to the data ahead of time and submit our IRB in a 3-4 weeks? We are in process of submitting a protocol for review and it would be really useful to get started with some modeling using the datasets available here. Is that possible? We have an ongoing conversation between your review team and Rudwan from Eight Sleep. May be you can help expedite this process?
