8.4 Entering Participant Data

• 1. Press the 1 or 2 key for Patinfo. The Patient Data screen will appear.
• 2. Using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the New Patient line and highlight Yes.
• 3. Press Enter.
• 4. Move the cursor down to Date of Birth and enter the participant’s date of birth.
• 5. Press Enter.
• 6. Move the cursor down to Patient ID and enter ParticipantID_ AlphaCode.
• 7. Move the cursor down to Gender and highlight either Female or Male.
• 8. Press Enter.
• 9. Move the cursor down to Race and highlight Others.
• 10. Press Enter.
• 11. Move the cursor down to Technician and highlight Others.
• 12. Press Enter.
• 13. Highlight a Technician ID number from the menu in the upper right corner of the screen
• 14. Press Enter.
• 1. The rest of the patient information is on Medications. Select the appropriate function key.

• None (F1) means patient is taking no medications

• Unknown (F2) should be used if you do not know what medications the patient is taking

• Clear (F3) will erase all medications that are currently Entered for the patient

• Add (F4) can be used to add a medication that the patient is taking

• Scroll (F5) allows you to review the patient’s medications one at a time.

• 1. Press Enter.
• 1. Press the Stop key to return to the main menu
