16.7 Data Entry

1. After the x-ray has been digitized, and GeoCalc has gathered the tongue areas, the data from DFP is copied on to a disk in Excel format. The date, personi, familyi, and tarea are added to the data and a print out (in spreadsheet form) is given to Joan for retention as a hard copy of the data. Refer to Dental Facial Planner Section - number 10 through 26 for procedure.
2. The information is now ready for data import.
3. The Excel file is saved to n:\common\Ceph Data Files\New
4. The naming protocol is as follows: F. The date (mmddyy) and the initial of the scorer. For example, a file created on August 26th 2001 scored by Greg would be named as follows: F082601g.xls
