Thank you for this amazing dataset! There is one thing I am not sure: I am using psg data from Sleep Heart Health Studuy dataset. And there is annotation file with event scored. Are these events scored by the Compumedics Software or by a specialist? Or Are they manual correted? Please help me to make sure this, it is important to me. Thanks!

Wenhui,

I'm glad you find the data useful. All of the PSG records were annotated by a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).

You can read more about the scoring procedures here: https://sleepdata.org/datasets/shhs/pages/mop/6-610-mop-overview-of-scoring.md

mrueschman,

Thank you for your kind response. Another problem is that there are two kind annotation files: 'annotations-events-nsrr' and 'annotations-events-profusion'. Could you tell me the difference between them?

Thanks!

The Polysomnography Introduction page has some information about the two XML files.

They contain the same information in slightly different formats. The NSRR files were made to work with the EDF Viewer Tool.
