We are working with the CHAT pediatric sleep dataset and specifically edf files. We are interested in linking some of the personal history data with the edf files. For example, I noticed that there is documentation of kids diagnosed with ADHD. Is there a way to link the personal data to their specific psg data files?

Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you can link the datasets that contain the personal history data (e.g. ADHD diagnosis) by looking at the obf_pptid field in the dataset. This is the first field in the file and is the unique identifier for each CHAT subject. These IDs also exist in the names of the EDF files that you have downloaded. For instance, chat-baseline-300001.edf was taken from obf_pptid = 300001 in the main CHAT datasets.
