Hi team, I was trying to understand the Actigraphy data from STAGES. but i could not see the activity count inside the json files of this link https://sleepdata.org/datasets/stages/files/m/browser/original/De-identified%20Data/Actigraphy%20Final%20to%20Post.zip. Here i could see a parameter namely, Activeness. Does this Activeness correspond to Activity count ?

Inside MESA dataset, i could see activity count, light intensity information as well inside actigraphy. So could you please guide me how to interpret the actigraphy data of STAGES dataset?

Hi team, I have a query regarding the date of actigraphy and edf file. In the actigraphy file, we have 17(starting from 3rd oct 2018) dates for BOGN00001.

But in edf file as a start date we have '01.01.85' . So how to understand the date at which edf files(PSG) were collected , so that i can correlate the edf files and actigraphy data

Hey DibishaTP - thanks for bringing your questions to the forum. Unfortunately, we didn't receive much documentation about the actigraphy device and output from STAGES. There was a brief discussion about it on the forum previously - https://sleepdata.org/forum/stanford-dataset-documentation/

Further, I don't think you'll be able to overlap the STAGES polysomnography and actigraphy data. The actigraphy data were provided to the NSRR as date-shifted files (random shifting amounts unknown to us), however the EDFs had all date references stripped.
