Dear all,
I am Luis Fernandez Luque, I am a health informatics researcher at QCRI (www.qcri.org). We are exploring the use of data mining to analyse the links between physical activity and sleep.
We are very interested in using the data sets available at NSRR but I am not sure if they contain the raw actigraphy data or not. Which type of actigraphy data is available?
Regards,
Luis
Luis,
There was a fairly recent discussion about actigraphy data ongoing here: https://www.sleepdata.org/forum/actigraphy
Unfortunately we do not have any raw actigraphy data posted at this time. I am looking to post actigraphy data from a subset of Hispanic Community Health Study participants sometime in the next few months, but it's not guaranteed I will have access to the data before then.
Sorry about that -- adding different file types like actigraphy is definitely one of our priorities and we hope to have a large collection in the future!
Mike
Dear Mike,
Thanks a lot. Please keep me updated.
For our research we do need raw data, even if it is not annotated. We are using unsupervised machine learning.
Regards,
Luis
the project about actigraphy entered his second phase as described in http://www.medicoimpianti.it/actigraphy-analysis-contest.html
I felt a needed step to complete the project as described in
http://www.medicoimpianti.it/sleep-analysis-contest.html
Actigraphy data are now available as part of the HCHS/SOL dataset. Overall summary data are available, as well as epoch-by-epoch (30 second) data from the (usually) week long recording.
