Hi,
I was checking the variable dictionary file in the shhs when I realized the variable "posqual" from Measurements/Polysomnography/Signal Quality category was described "Sleep Heart Health Study Visit 2 (SHHS2)-These vary from 1 (poorest) to 5 (best) and reflect the proportion of sleep time the signals were useable", however its domain was "sigqual", which had values varied between 0 and 4 due to the domain dictionary file. Then, I checked the shhs1 file named "shhs-data-dictionary-0.13.1-variables.csv" and I saw this variable in this file while the values of this variable were between 0 and 4. Therefore, I would like to inform the others that the description of this category is wrong, and *this variable belongs to the SHHS1, not SHH2. *

Thank you so much for your guidance.
Thank you so much for your assistance.
I would like to know what kind of information was collected in the follow-up? only CVD-outcomes? the medication variables source you mentioned above is related to the baseline sleep study (shhs1: between 1995 and 1998) and the second sleep study (shhs2: between 2001 and 2003). I am looking forward the follow-up variables (the follow-up seems to be continued until 2011). I want to know what information exists in these years from 2001-2003 to 2011.
I would appreciate a lot if you clarify me.
Thanks
I would like to know if there are any variables in SHHS about people body position during the polysomnography which represents the percentage of sleep time that person has been in a specifc position like supine.
Thank you very much for your assistance
I am looking for a variable about dietary information in SHHS, does such variable exist in this dataset?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Regards,
I would like to know what kind of information during the follow-up exists in SHHS dataset?
Is there any information about the drugs taken by the subjects during the follow-up? What information we have in SHHS about drug therapy after sleep study?
Thank you for any help
I will try it due to your advice. Thanks a lot
Thank you so much for you response.
I checked the Profusion XML files of several subjects of shhs1 randomly, about 30 to 40 files, and all of them have such a order of the position signal that you mentioned, Right, Left, Back, and Front!
Can I conclude that every subject has this order of the position and the position values are constant for all shhs1 subjects?
I mean for all subjects we have:
0 - Right
1 - Left
2 - Back
3 - Front
in the SHHS dataset, there is body position data of subjects, which is a signal with the frequency of 1 Hz, and values of 0, 1, 2, and 3. In fact, each number shows a specific position of subject in a second. In addition, these numbers refer to four positions including Back, Front, Left side, and Right side.
Now, I would like to know, which one of these four positions dose each number refer to? I mean, for example, which position dose "the number of 0 in position data" refer to? the value of 0 might refer to back position, front position, left side, or right side, which one 0 refers to?
Thank you in advance for any help

In SHHS dataset, we have two EEGs, called EEG and EEGsec, I want to know which of them was recorded from channel C3 and which of them from channel C4?
Thank you very much in advance for any guidance.
