5.11.0 NP Quality Control Procedures

5.11.1 General goals

  • Ensure that the data from each participant’s NP evaluations are made available for data entry in as efficient and error-free manner as possible.
  • Each site will maintain a neuropsychologist investigator to oversee test administration by trained, experienced examiners (psychometrists) with strong experience in child neuropsychological assessment.

5.11.2 Centralized training and check-out

  • 2 day training session in Philadelphia
    • Attendees will include clinical site neuropsychologist and a psychometrist from each clinical site and representatives from the NP Quality Control Coordinating Site
    • Breakout session will focus on specific aspects of NP data collection and database management
    • Time will be allotted to document proficiency in specific NP test procedures through observation and check-out
  • Individual site visits by NP QA Coordinating Site personnel will be made to each participating site within 3 months of beginning data collection
